Room With A View
Evolve commissioned Kapil Bhimekar to conceive and develop a site-specific installation inside “THE ROOM” at Foundry. The project, named “Room With A View,” offered an immersive experience where viewers were invited to step inside the artist’s memory of a 2019 trip to Greece. This monochromatic space, devoid of color, vividly brings an illustrated world to life, allowing visitors to navigate through Bhimekar’s recollections. Bhimekar explained that drawing his memories enables him to document his perspective and share this immersive journey with others. He dedicated over 30 hours to creating the cityscape visible through the window, hoping that visitors will appreciate the view.
