2021 REX

Evolve curated and managed the entire production and implementation of the exhibition “Purple Reign” by Rex, displayed at Foundry. This exhibition featured a series of limited edition prints within a fully immersive experience. Rex, a Saudi illustrator, often incorporates ironic references inspired by pop culture and stereotypes. His latest series, “Purple Reign,” draws inspiration from Prince’s iconic song “Purple Rain.” In it, he explores various shades of purple, dreamy aesthetics, and themes of confusion and personal struggles, all interpreted through the lens of Khaleeji culture.
